The early round of the St Johns had to be postponed to accommodate a round of the Betty Faesen during the autumn, so the 1st round will be played on Sunday September 10th. This year the St Johns will be held in conjunction with an Invitation event for members' guests.
The St Johns is a Mixed tournament over 3 rounds - combined stableford with the best 2 rounds counting. Each members' team may invite 2 guests to join them. There will be a separate prize table for the members who entered in the St Johns, and for the visitors and members not in the St Johns.
The event is a shot gun start at 12.30pm. The entry fee for members is $25 per head, for visitors $40 per head. The entry fee includes the golf, prizes and snacks after golf. This event is open to all membership categories, with mixed teams in the St Johns. Men's or Women's teams may enter but are not eligible for the St Johns trophy.
The snacks menu will include - crumbed chicken tenders & aioli; prawn twisters; lime & corona battered fish with a chilli sauce; chicken and mango rice paper parcels.
The entry sheet will be posted in the 19th Café from tomorrow - Wednesday August 16th.
