LADIES GOLF

The Remuera Weekend Team have started off the season in fine fashion, winning their first game and being top of the points table.

The first round of the TopCat competition was played today, and the leading pairs were:-

Airma Bugden and Nicola Hudd, with a score of 46 Points (OCB)
Annie Tam and Bronwyn Holdsworth (46 Points)
Janice McKinley & Margaret Hancox (44 Points OCB)
There were four 2's - Pru Robertson (x2), Sophie Feng and Wendy Norman.

Reminders:-

· On Thursday, the Remuera Golf Club is hosting the 18-hole Section B Matchplay on Thursday, hence there are very limited times available to members.

· Next Tuesday is the LGU competition, to be played in conjunction with Captains Trophy as well as Homelinks events (these are nation-wide competitions). Included in this day is the Qualifying for National Teams Day – the top four RGC ladies have the chance to play in the Auckland District Final (to be held at Remuera on 17 May). If you wish to be part of this, you need to pay $3 on the day (money goes to the District Assoc).

· Entries will close for the Masters Match-play event (played throughout the year and open to those 65yrs+) on Thursday, when the Draw will be done. Entry Sheet is in the Locker Room

· The Remuera Golf Club Ladies’ Open Day is rapidly approaching, and you need to enter this with Karen. This is a Pairs event, so grab a partner (ideal opportunity to bring a friend from another Club) and enter with Karen - $15 pp for RGC members. Shot-gun start at 8am.
