The Betty Faesen team for Remuera has this year (for the first time in many years) has been able to front with a full team (not sharing with another club).  This Sunday was our first round (after a washout at Titirangi 2 weeks ago).  The venue was Akarana and all 4 young ladies fronted for a practice round on Saturday after 3.30pm.

 

The result was a resounding victory to Remuera over Pakuranga - 7-1!  Remuera has not beaten Pakuranga for many years, and Pakuranga has had it's name firmly engraved on the Betty Faesen trophy for as long as I can remember.

 

Grace Jung won 4/3 against Rose Zheng.  Mary Chen halved with Caryn Khoo, Kelly Wu won 3/2 against Jessica Huang and Sarah Murchison had a 1up win against Ellie Back.  The next game is on March 18 at Windross Farm against Windross Farm, so it will be quite a challenge.
