LADIES GOLF

Latest Pennant Results:-

The 18-Hole Weekend Women had a HUGE win over Pukekohe, winning 63.5 – 44.5 at Whitford Park. After two games, this catapults them clearly into the leading Team of the competition.

Latest Results:-

The LGU mid-week winners from last week’s Wrap do not change, ie since the Weekend Women played their LGU, results stand.

The Open Day was a huge success, with 112 ladies from clubs from all over Auckland participating.

The top three pairs were:-

1^st = Cathy Jordan and Pam Oliver (RAGGC) with 74 points

2^nd = Joan Reeves & Tina Lucas (70 points OCB)

3^rd = Margaret Ward-Holmes & Louise Doherty (70 Points)

There was some excellent golf played, with one lady even shooting her age!

After the first round of Nancy MacCormick Foursomes, the leading pairs are:-

Megan King + Lyn Kempthorne (Net 71)

Shizue Beniya + Gillian Ge Liu (Net 72 OCB)

The second and final round will be played on Thursday to determine the winning pair.

Reminders:-

· The Draw for the Masters Match-play event is in the Locker Room – please get your matches underway while the weather is good.

· Please ensure you have ‘registered’ in the correct division for Jubilee Strokeplay next week. There are three choices; 54-hole (36 holes played Tuesday + 18 holes on Thursday), 65+ Age-Group (18 Holes played on Tuesday + Thursday) and ‘Non-Qualifiers’. If you have any queries please see Karen. The Draw will be done on Thursday.

· The next competition is Coronation Cup (27 March) – as this is not a seeded event, simply book yourself in online when bookings open on DotGolf. A chance to mix and mingle and play with different people!
