A number of our players were selected for the annual Battle of the Bridge at Waitemata Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.  Connor Barker and Cameron Harlock were included in the 10-man Senior team, Thai Leng in the 8-man Masters team; and Karl Jorgensen (capt), Nathan Smith and Robby Turnbull in the 8 man Junior team.

 

Overall North Harbour won the trophy by 14-12.  Connor was beaten, along with Karl and Robby, while Thai and Nathan contributed wins plus Cameron's half.  This is the first of the representative campaign for this year.  In July an Auckland Junior Development team will travel to New Plymouth for a tournament and matches against Taranaki.   Then in the build-up to the InterProvincials the teams go to Taupo for the annual match against Wellington.
