The Booth Cup got underway on Saturday with the first of 4 qualifying rounds.  From each qualifying round the best gross and the 2 best net scores qualify for the 36-hole final held at the end of the year.

 

Matthew Cormack's 69 won the gross event from Rakesh Patel (70).  The net qualifiers were John Johnson (66) and Frans Huysmans (67).  The net reserves are Cameron Pocock and David Pedersen (68) on a count-back from Frank van Hattum.

 

The other rounds are to be held on April 27, June 29 and November 23.  The final is scheduled for November 30.  To be eligible to play in the final a player must complete a minimum of 2 of the 4 qualifying rounds.

 

This Saturday is our Presidents Foursomes with the morning round from 8.30am and the afternoon round from 12.30pm.  Winstone's Cafe is offering a cooked buffet breakfast from 7am for $15 per head.
