Visitor Information

Remuera Golf Club is central Auckland’s premier golf course. Located a short 10-minute drive from the Auckland CBD, set amongst stunning native scenery, the 18-hole competition course is a par 72. Golfers of all levels will find the course challenging, rewarding and a lot of fun.

Members, guests, visitors and tourists are always welcome to enjoy the warm and embracing social atmosphere at Remuera Golf Club. With superbly manicured grounds, a driving range fitted with the latest Toptracer ball-tracking technology, and clubhouse facilities that are relaxed and sophisticated, all visitors enjoy the tranquil environment of the Club.

The Pro shop is fully equipped with the latest equipment to purchase or hire before playing, along with any other clothing and accessories that you may need. Remuera Golf Club has 200 car-parking spaces available and a fleet of 25 carts for use on the course. Golfers are welcome to warm up on the driving range and use our pristine chipping and practice areas before teeing off.

Twilight Golf

Over the summer months, we host an amazing Twilight Golf series on Thursday evenings. Over the years this series has earned a reputation as being the premier twilight golf event in Auckland. 9 holes starting at 5.30 pm with a shotgun start which is followed by good vibes, social drinks, and prize giving in our central courtyard. We encourage members to bring guests and visitors to join us. All players contribute $10 to the prize pool. Green fees are $50 for members' guests or visitors. There are pop-up surprises throughout the series and you never know what sort of fun to expect at twilight, so come play!

Dress Code

Fashion trends make absolute guidelines impracticable, but the unchanging consideration is that members' and visitors' dress, on the course or in the Clubhouse, should reflect the high standards required at the Club.

Denim jeans, football jerseys, track suits, running or beach shorts, shirts with large motifs or slogans, and jandals, are not appropriate on course.

The Club has full and final authority to determine what is acceptable.

 

Soft spikes

The Club requires the use of soft spike golf shoes as they significantly reduce the damage to greens. 

 

Clubhouse Attire

A clean, neat and tidy standard of dress is required at all times.

Beach attire, track pants or suits, singlets & jandals are prohibited. 

Clean and dry golf shoes are permitted in the lounge (before your round of golf).

The Club has full and final authority to determine what is acceptable.

Please conform to the required dress standard to avoid embarrassment.

Course Etiquette

Mobile phones - Acceptable on the course, but only with agreement of your playing partners.

Turn to silent mode in the Clubhouse, and retire outside to take or make calls.

Smoking - All Club buildings are smoke free.
