A full field entered for Patron's Day on Sunday April 11th to take advantage of the last chance to play the course before coring.  John and Cecily Rainger generously sponsored the main prizes for the women's and men's field.  After a very wet Saturday the sun came out in the afternoon for a very pleasant afternoon.

 

The big winners on the day were Judy Jarvie (37pts) and John Ter Morshuizen (41pts).  Judy was presented with a beautiful black pearl necklace by John and Cecily, while John received a quality Citizen watch.

Judy finished just 1pt ahead of Pam Donnelly, Merilyn Kavvas and Wendy Potter in the Women's competition; while John won the Men's event on a count-back from Jack Mayberry.

 

Mary Pope (8th), Maree Ritchie (17th), Brett Davis (3rd) and Andrew Nagel (11th) won the Nearest the Pin prizes.  There were also 10 very happy (and lucky) players who received a bottle of wine in the lucky draw section.
