While our elite Junior players have been representing Auckland, we have also entered a junior team in the Inter Club Pennant competition. The teams in the first 2 weeks of competition have been - Samuel Zhang, Sebastian McKenzie, Oscar Guo, Nikki Liu, Yuri Lee and Jackson Muirhead.
Each player plays a junior from the other 2 clubs in our conference - Maungakiekie and Titirangi. It is on stableford with the winner in the 3-ball getting 3pts, runner-up 2pts and third place 1pt. The first round was at Maungakiekie with Yuri Lee the stand-out performer winning her games on 36pts. The team got 10pts in total, with Maungakiekie on 13pts and Titirangi on 12pts.
The team made a big come-back at Titirangi on Sunday with wins to Samuel Zhang, Oscar Guo, Nikki Liu and Jackson Muirhead (all getting the maximum 3pts each). A total of 14.5pts from this round lifted the team into top spot overall with just one round to play at home this coming Sunday afternoon. The points situation is:

Titirangi 22.
